J. Young (John Young) has over 50 years experience in WCB / WSIB revenue issues. After a successful 20 year career working at the WCB, in 1994 he began working as an independent consultant helping employers resolve their WSIB revenue problems. John’s direct and extensive WCB / WSIB experience, coupled with maintaining good working relationships within the WSIB, uniquely enables him to achieve the best possible results for his clientele.

As a Paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario) since May 2008, John Young specializes in employer WSIB revenue issues such as employer classification, employer audits, worker vs. independent operator status for contractors, experience rating and appeals, and more. Although primarily representing employers directly with the WSIB, John also works for lawyers or accountants providing technical advice & expertise relevant to WSIB revenue or financial matters.

Situated in the GTA/central Ontario, the William John Young Professional Corporation represents clients in the Golden Horseshoe area (from Oshawa to Niagara Falls), and across Ontario. John Young provides ethical advice with his customers best interests in mind, and he has a proven track record of positively influencing WSIB/WSIAT decisions for his clients including a number of large retroactive awards for employers.
